Deadline for submission of online applications for 2025/2026 Session 

Saturday 8th November 2025. Applicants are Advised to complete and submit their applications before this date.  Portal will shut down at 12:00pm on Saturday, 8th November 2025. No application will be processed after the date stated above.

Application Process

  1. How do I get support during and after the application process
  2. Can I start an application without immediate payment?
    • Yes, you may begin the process, but your submission will only be finalized upon full payment. Your details will be saved in the system.
  3. Can I make partial payments? If so, what is the procedure?
    • Partial payments are not currently supported. Full payment is required to complete your application.
  4. Can I apply on behalf of someone else?
    • No, applications must be submitted by the individual applicant for verification purposes.
  5. When will I know if my application is complete?
    • You will receive an email confirmation once all steps (including payment) are successfully processed.
  6. Can I update my submitted application while waiting for an admission decision to be made?
    • Yes. You can always login to the portal, open your application, click Edit and update your application. Once a decision has been made, you will not be able to update the application anymore.

Login & Account Recovery

  1. What if I forget my email address or password?
    • Use the "Forgot Password" feature on the login page. If you no longer have access to your email, contact USL admissions support for assistance.

QR Code & Vouchers

  1. What if I lose my QR code?
    • You may retrieve it by logging into your application portal or contacting the admissions office.
  2. Can I save and use the QR code on my phone?
    • Yes, the QR code can be saved digitally or printed for payment and verification.
  3. How do I obtain a payment voucher?
    • Vouchers can be generated through your application portal or requested from designated USL payment centers.
  4. Is a voucher an alternative to the QR code?
    • Yes, vouchers serve the same purpose for payment processing but do not replace the QR code for application tracking.

Data & International Payments

  1. How long are my details kept in USL’s records?
    • Applicant data is retained per the university’s data policy, typically for a minimum of five years post-application.
  2. Can I make payments from overseas?
    • Yes, international payments are accepted via approved platforms to be decided by USL Finance and listed on the USL website (e.g., Orange Money, Afrimoney, Visa, etc.).
